I now have On Demand! No, I don't!

I had an e-mail from Comcast today informing me that On Demand was now available in my area.

I rushed to the TV only to be disappointed that On Demand exhibits the same behavior as before (DVR display switches briefly to channel 1, then back again). No On Demand.

I know I live in a low-bandwidth 550 MHz area (Sunnyvale, CA). But it's not nice to tease me, Comcast.
