Verizon FIOS DVR Menu

What menu does it use?
How well does it work?

Please don't be the same one as Comcast!

Seriously, I've been this ... close to sledge-hammering my Comcast DVR because of the NEW and IMPROVED menu. aaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggg

Verizon isn't in my area yet, but when it is... no more Comcast.

Re: Verizon FIOS DVR Menu

In most areas, Verizon uses a menu system (Interactive Media Guide or IMG) programmed by Microsoft.  It's a little clunky looking but fast and functional.

In some areas, Verizon began rolling out a new IMG, but it was horribly flawed.  It is pretty, but it breaks things. The roll out has stopped.  The people who are stuck with the new IMG are apparently getting billing credits because it's so bad.

Neither version has anything to do with the IGuide software that runs the Comcast DVR.
