Found a DCT6412, what can I do?

Hey all.  This is my first post around here, but since I will be getting digital cable with DVR soon, it will probably not be my last.  About 2 months ago, my brother moved into a new apartment.  Just 2 days ago, he looked in a closet in his basement and found a comcast branded Motorola DVR in there.  With no use for it, he gave it to me.  Is there anything I would be able to do with it?  I plugged it into the wall, and it powers up and changes channels, but, since I don't have digital cable right now, I am afraid to plug the cable into it.  Would I be able to sell it, or use it somehow?

Thanks,
Pat

Return it to your local Comcast office as it's their equipment.
