Adios, MS Guide?

I've heard that we (Washington state) will be converted from Microsoft to iGuide in early June.  In a way it will be good to be in the mainstream, but I hope the version we get is as good as what we'll lose -- especially the feature we have that enables us to prune the channels displayed in the guide.  And I suppose we'll get the 30-second skip.   cool

You'll not get number 1, but you will get number 2.  Actually, there is a way to see only the channels in the guide that you want to see, as favorites, but I find that too cumbersome.

Re: Adios, MS Guide?

The "favorites" option we now have just allows you to sequence through tuning directly to the favorites, but doesn't affect the guide content.  I'll try it in the iGuide when the time comes.

This week we're experiencing our own little Hellacious bug here -- it's interfering with recordings of channels in the upper range of the <100 subset.  At first I thought it was just my 3416, but too many others have reported the same problem here, with various models, for that to be true.  I got a blank recording of the Formula One qualifying this morning (5AM out here), so I need to be sure the replay works at 11:30PM
